Yellow Lab Torn ACL, Surgery or Put Down

Our Family has a tough decision to make. Our Yellow Lab 130 lbs, 8 years old,
and overweight has a torn ACL in his left knee. We are very limited in funds.
Should we consider surgery or put the Dog down. He is overweight ,but
otherwise healthy .

This seems like a bit of a tough decision to ask someone in a forum. This would have to really be a more personal decision for yourself and your family. If we can offer any sort of information on your dog or health info, please let us know.
